Alexander Sarrigeorgiou named vice-president of Insurance Europe

Alexander Sarrigeorgiou, chairman of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies, and chair and CEO of Eurolife, has been elected vice-president of Insurance Europe, with a mandate running until June 2025.

Sarrigeorgiou has led Eurolife for 18 years, and before this was CEO of Allianz Insurance in Greece. He has been chair of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies since 2018.

Sarrigeorgiou succeeds Sandro Panizza, who left the position in October 2022.
